Do I get to choose my meals?

Of course. The choice is yours. Our menus are always updated based on what’s seasonal and fresh. Whether you want one of each or multiples of the same meal, we want you to do you.

Do I need to be home to collect my meals?

Not at all. Our food delivery partners will place your package of ready-made meals in a safe place without a signature required. Our meals are packed using recyclable boxes, thermal insulation and iceblocks that will keep your meals cool for a few hours after delivery.

Is there any cooking necessary?

Nope, we’ve done all the cooking for you. The only finger-lifting you need to do is reheat your meal in the microwave when you’re hungry. Simply pierce the plastic seal to help release the steam before you start cooking.

Depending on your microwave, it’s recommended to heat your meal for at least 3 minutes.

How do you keep the meals fresh and ready for me to eat?

With a bit of clever thinking, we sort out special packaging that allows us to keep out oxygen once it’s sealed. That means it slows down the speed of oxidisation and the growth of aerobic organisms, helping to increase the shelf life of all the fresh ingredients and produce stored inside.

Can I pause my subscription?

Definitely. You have the freedom to pause, edit, even cancel your subscription before your next scheduled payment. Wilding Foods is here for you when you need it.

Can I freeze my meals?

You can choose to freeze your meals if you like. It’s a great way to save them for a rainy day. But some things freeze better than others. We wouldn’t recommend freezing any salads or leafy greens. 

When it comes to reheating a frozen meal, simply pop it in the microwave for 1 min to help defrost it, then follow the original heating instructions provided on the packaging. Use frozen meals within 12 weeks.

What if I don’t have a microwave?

Have no fear, when it comes to our meals you have the ability to use an oven or a stovetop. Just remember, the meals are already cooked, all you need to do is reheat.

Oven
Remove film and place the meal tray in oven at 160 degrees celsius for 12 minutes.

Stove top
Add 1 table spoon of water and the meal to a heavy based pot, Heat for around 7 minutes, give it a stir, and then continue to heat for a further 3 minutes.

Where do you cook your meals?

We cook all our meals right here in Australia from our production kitchen in Melbourne, Victoria.

Is there a weekly cutoff for placing my order?

FOR NEW ORDERS: Orders placed before the cut-off ( 2pm Wednesdays) will be delivered on the following Tuesday or Wednesday depending on your zone.

FOR SUBSCRIPTION & REACTIVATION OF SUBSCRIPTION:

Updates to plans & reactivation of plans must occur before the cut-off ( 2pm Tuesdays)

What time should I expect my meal delivery?

We’ll send you a text the night before with a rough ETA and a tracking code, so you can follow it all the way to your place.

Can I review my menu every week?

Definitely. We understand not everyone wants to eat the same menu week in, week out. Because of this, you can go in before the delivery cut-off time and amend your order.

If you don’t amend it, we’ll assume you’re happy with your previous week’s selection and go ahead with prepping it and delivering it again.

What is my Dashboard?

Your Dashboard is the place to go to find all your account details and subscription settings.

Here you’ll find:
– Your card payment details
– The number of meals arriving in your next order
– Your chosen delivery address
– Specific delivery instructions for your order

Why is Wilding Foods good for me?

When it comes to our ingredients, we only use the good stuff. We’re talking about everything from superfoods and locally sourced ingredients to plant proteins and certified-organic meats.

There’s so much good put into each meal that there’s no need to bulk it out with any of the nasties like GMOs, artificial flavours, refined carbs, seed oils and all that other yucky stuff.

Is your packaging recyclable?

We’re the complete package. 100% recyclable, BPA-free, and we only ever use trays made from recycled plastics. We do this because every bit does a world of good.

Can I cancel my subscription any time?

Sure you can, as long as you do it before we charge you for your next delivery. To unsubscribe, just head to your Dashboard and confirm your cancellation. Find a step-by-step process here.

How often do you charge me for my meals?

So we charge you for your initial order as part of your subscription, and then every week after that. Your payment will be processed 7 days before the delivery, based on your location.

Please note, you won’t be charged for any skipped weeks or pauses to your subscription without your permission.

Can an NDIS participant sign up?

If you’re a self-managed NDIS participant, you can definitely subscribe to Wilding Foods. If you’d like to know more information contact us at info@wildingfoods.com.au

I have a promo code. How do I use it?

All you need to do is go ahead and sign up to Wilding Foods. When you’re asked to provide your payment card details at the checkout, you’ll see a promo code entry field ready and waiting for you.

How does Wilding Foods subscription service work?

It’s all pretty simple, really. Once you sign up, you’ll be asked to put together your first menu for the week. Once that’s submitted and paid for, we’ll deliver it to you. For subsequent weeks, unless you change out your menu choices in your Dashboard, we’ll assume you’re happy with your current selection and continue to deliver that week to week.

If you decide to pause or cancel your subscription, you’re free to do so as long as you do it before you’re charged for your next automated order. This is because once we start to cook your meals, we can’t unfortunately uncook them.

Is your menu gluten-free?

Yes, you’ll find all our meals are made using gluten-free ingredients.


Our Qualified chefs have undergone further allergens training & we have had a random sample independently tested using the ELISA method and received a " no measurable gluten" result.

How do I change my shipping address?

Unfortunately with our courier services, you will need to cancel your existing subscription and create a new order with the new address.
